119 Studio is a culmination of a lifelong love of photography. A 30+ year path down a long and winding road. I grew up in Southeast Michigan. At 15 years old, my parents gifted me my first camera. I have spent my life traveling all over the state of Michigan, capturing its beauty through photography along the way. When my children were young, I started my photography business, photographing weddings, families, special events and more. My family and I have spent many summers in towns all along Lake Michigan, but ultimately fell in love with Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Good Hart, Cross Village, and our beautiful Tunnel of Trees.
In 2014, my husband and I relocated to Northern Michigan. We now live in Harbor Springs with our three dogs. In 2020 I took time to reflect on what I wanted for the next phase of my life. I began teaching myself to paint with watercolor, something I’ve always wanted to learn. Most importantly I reconnected with my passion for photography and went back to school for Interior Design and so began the journey that is now 119 Studio and One Nineteen Design.
I’m so glad you’re here!
